On Tuesday, August 6th in Atlanta, GA, select coaches and players from every football school in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) gathered in the conference’s hometown to take part in the annual preseason Kickoff Luncheon. As the defending champions from the 2012 season, Tuskegee was chosen by the coaches and sports information directors in the conference to repeat as champion for the 2013 season.
Curtis Campbell has been chosen to serve as Tuskegee University’s new athletic director after an extensive search and interviews with an array of highly qualified finalists, starting today. For six years, he was the athletic director at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The Tuskegee University Department of Athletics announced today that individual and season tickets for upcoming Tuskegee University home football games are now available for purchase for the 2013 season. This announcement is made just a couple of weeks after the university announced that general admission and reserved seating tickets were on sale in the Kresge Center for the upcoming Cleveland Classic, which will be played at FirstEnergy Stadium, home of the NFL’s Cleveland Browns.
The Tuskegee University Department of Athletics announced today that a limited number of tickets are now available for the Cleveland Classic featuring the defending SIAC Champion Tuskegee Golden Tigers, and the defending CIAA and Black College Football National Champion Winston Salem State University Rams. Tickets will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis.
